We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.

RURU DIGITAL does not use cookies for website analytics. Some third-party services or essential website functionality may use cookies or similar technologies to operate correctly. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of those services.
3. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free and does not use client-side storage or fingerprint visitors for analytics. It provides aggregated information such as page views, referrers and website performance so we can improve the site.
4. Third-party services
We may use third-party service providers to help operate our website and business. They may access personal information only to perform services on our behalf and must not use it for other purposes.

RURU DIGITAL does not currently provide website user accounts or take payments through this website. If those features are introduced, we will update this policy to explain the information collected and the relevant service providers. Payment providers, where used, will process payment information directly; we will not store full card details on our servers.
7. Sharing, retention and security
RURU DIGITAL does not sell personal information. We disclose it only where necessary to provide our services, where you authorise us to do so, or where required or permitted by law. We keep it only for as long as it is reasonably needed for those purposes or to meet legal obligations.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure, in line with Information Privacy Principle 5.
8. Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can:
- Ask for access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that you believe is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Ask us to delete personal information where appropriate; we will consider the request in light of our legal obligations and the purpose for which we hold it.
To make a request, contact privacy@rurudigital.dev. We will respond within 20 working days where the Privacy Act requires it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner atprivacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
